2-19-2023--We hear in the scriptures this weekend, the Lord saying to Moses, "Be Holy, for I, the Lord, your God, am holy." And Jesus says to His disciples, "Be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect."

2-05-2023--The passage we hear for the 5th Week in Ordinary Time, immediately follows the Beatitudes.  The Beatitudes, scholars remind us, are the eight dispositions that reveal “blessedness” and turn “what we see and hear” in our world on its head.
