If you and your family and or friends would like to help out our local senior citizens with yard work, we will be offering “Community Service” opportunities once again on Saturday, April 17th, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Permission slips and further information can be found under Youth Ministry and at the Edna Burton Senior Center. We need all able-bodied middle schoolers, high schoolers, college students, adults, scouts, NHS, or any other individual or group to help out our Senior Citizens & Handicapped neighbors
with yard work!

**We will keep you in groups of 1-2 adults with 3-5 youth and within the groups, you sign up with. Please provide your own rakes, shovels, gardening tools, gloves, and water bottles.

Thank you for volunteering for the annual spring clean-up for our Senior Citizens and Disabled Adults on Saturday, April 17th, 2021. Your hard work is greatly appreciated by all you serve!

–Saturday meeting locations–All volunteers will meet at Edna Burton Sr. Center by 8:30 a.m. on April 17th to pick up supplies, shirts, and job site information.
–Workers must provide–rakes, shovels, garden tools, gloves & water bottles.
-Job Description-rake and bag leaves, pick up branches and sticks, clean out flower beds.
Each worksite will have a list of what they need to be done and you will cover up to 1 acre and spend no more than 1- 1 ½ hrs. tops at each worksite.
–Work Hours–the workday begins at 9 a.m. and will be done by 3-4:00 p.m. or until all jobs are completed. (Call Faye Bindig at 586-292-2768 when your jobs are completed.)
–Lunch will be served at the EDNA BURTON CENTER, 345 Ball Street 12:15-2:00.
–Adult supervision–An adult must be present at each work site along with no more than 5 youth, depending on the size of the yard. PLEASE STAY HYDRATED.
– Leaf and Garbage bag pick up–call Jeremy #343-5767 just before you are finished at the work site and wait at the site to help load trailers.
