MERCY IN ACTION 2021

On Saturday, October 16th, our Family of Parishes "Mercy in Action" will take place at St. Daniels Church beginning at 8:30am until Noon. Each ministry, both here at St. Anne and other Church members within our Family of Parishes, have decided on a special event to assist with organizations we have worked with in the past and that are dear to us. The St. Anne Christian Service Ministry will again pack for our military personnel by collecting items for our Desert Angels by packing Miracle Boxes. We have done this in the past and had great success. Listed below are some of the suggested items our military need: Pop Tarts, Cereal Bars, Beef Jerky, Fruit cups, Noodles in a Cup, Life Savers candy, Cookies, Baby wipes, cotton swabs, Kleenex packs, toothpaste, razors, Chap Stick, socks, underwear, wash cloths, small Ziplock bags, Crossword books, playing cards, small hand held games found at the Dollar Store. 

Our High School Youth will be at St. Daniels offering multiple service and prayer opportunities. We will be making cards for our Military, holding a  book drive for the children at Whaley Center in Flint, and making/ collecting items for some of the local soup kitchens and dog shelters. This is a great Family Service Day!
