The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a wonderful way to encounter Jesus during Lent. Every Saturday, this Sacrament is celebrated at 4:30 p.m. You can also call the office if you would like to schedule an appointment with Fr. Gerry. 248-627-3965 ext. 100 Adoration and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament Every Thursday, adoration times will be from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. You are welcome to come at anytime. There must always be someone in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament while it is exposed. Lenten Regulations of Fasting and Abstinence Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of total fast and abstinence from meat. The Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence from meat. The laws of fasting (eating less) bind those from the ages of 18 through 59. Lenten Alms Giving This year we will have canisters for you to collect your spare change. One-half of the monies collected will go to the Irish Pallottine Missions in Africa and the other half will benefit our St. Anne Care & Share Fund. Blood Drive Good Friday, April 2nd 10:00 – 4:00 Breakfast for the Homeless This year we will be providing Breakfast bags for a week for the Homeless. We will be “partnering” with our “Family of Parishes” member, St. Daniel. We will be providing 400 breakfast bags, 200 from St. Daniel, 200 from St. Anne. These are the needed items: Nutri grain bars, juice boxes, pre-wrapped mini-muffins. Please place your items in the blue bin next to the OCEF basket. Monetary donations are appreciated also. Thank you for your ongoing generosity! AOD Dispensation Note General Dispensation from attending Mass has been extended until March 13th. We hope to welcome you all back beginning the weekend of March 13/14. You are accorded a relief from your obligation to attend Mass if you are: 65 or older, pregnant, you care for the sick, you are ill, or think you may be asymptomatic. If you can shop in a store or eat at a restaurant, you can attend Mass. We look forward to seeing you all very soon.
